Karachi learning guide
Practical guidance for parents and students from Jinnah Tutors Academy.
A student can memorise a physics equation and still struggle when a question changes the diagram or wording. Physics becomes easier when the learner can describe what is happening, draw a model and choose a relationship that fits the situation.
Before substituting numbers, ask what moves, changes or interacts. Draw a simple labelled sketch and write known quantities with units. For forces, show direction; for circuits, trace the path; for waves, identify what varies. This short pause often prevents choosing an equation because it looks familiar rather than because it applies.
Units reveal many mistakes. A calculation for speed should end in distance per time, not metres or seconds alone. Convert prefixes before solving, then check whether the result is plausible. When a question asks for an explanation, describe the cause and effect in words instead of writing only a formula.
After each topic, attempt a fresh question with a different context. If the method fails, return to the underlying principle and compare two worked examples. Explain the answer back in simple language. A tutor can diagnose whether the block is mathematical fluency, a weak concept or difficulty interpreting the exam prompt.
